Unique monsters remain a crucial part of Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed. Not only can you fill out your Collectopaedia and farm items, but the unique monsters offer tons of experience, allowing you to level up. With plenty of monsters around, it can be challenging to find all of them if you don’t know where to look.

A few unique monsters require you to go there during a specific time of day or weather effect.

Finish the game first to switch between these at will, so you can try different times and weather if you can’t find the monster.

Vermilion Woods

Fogstalker Naiara		It’s in the starting area of the game, but you won’t have access to it until later in the story.
Fogstalker Naiara		Return to the Rhogett Causeway Landmark and travel west to find it.
Bombastic Rotbart Jr.		Go to the Rhogett Causeway Landmark. Travel east, then continue north until you enter the cave along the wall.
Bombastic Rotbart Jr.		You went too far if you reach the Springside Camp Rest Spot.
Advent Wolf Marduk
		Begin at the Atattra’s Rampart Landmark. Go south, and you’ll find a platform to the west.
		Climb it, and you’ll encounter the unique monster among other wolves. This enemy is among the Enemy Territory in the area.
		If you plan to defeat this unique monster, you’ll need to deal with the enemy aggro around you.
Prohibitor Giuseppe		Start with the previous unique monster. Go west and slightly north to encounter a cave. Go through the cave to come across the monster.
Peacebringer Divalo and Stronghammer Dorga		You won’t encounter these until late into the DLC, so don’t bother going after them until you finish the main story.
Peacebringer Divalo and Stronghammer Dorga		Go to the Battlefield Camp Rest Spot and travel north, between the Colony Gamma and Colony 5 Wreckage.

Aurora Shelf

Unique Monster Name	Map And In-Game Location	Notes
Cavalier MacBright		Start at the Elevator Landing Camp Rest Spot. Travel west and enter the cave at the bottom of the decline.
Cavalier MacBright		Travel east through the cave until you enter a room. You’ll find a staircase to the east in that room, so go down it to find the monster.
Watchful Valencia		Go to the Elevator, Upper Landing Landmark. Travel west and enter the valley.
Watchful Valencia		Continue north and reach the monster before the Ragrinar Passage.
Smothering Andante		Begin at the Pioneer’s Point Landmark. Climb down it and go north from the west side. Continue west to find the monster.
Radicalized Godwin		Return to the Pioneer’s Point Landmark. Go to the east side of the tree and hop to the platform below.
Radicalized Godwin		Drop into a hole leading to the ruins, and you’ll encounter it.
Treehugger Gerald		Start at the Echoes of Gran Dell Citadel Landmark. Travel east, and you’ll find it near a tree and some cliffs.
Hilltop Chegwin		Go to the Elevator, Upper Landing Landmark. Travel west, then north, but don’t enter the valley.
Hilltop Chegwin		Continue to the lake and waterfall to the northwest. On the north side, you’ll encounter it.
Fograptor D’nari		You’ll automatically run into this unique monster as you go through the Ether Lift Research quest, which is required to complete the story.
		As a quick recap, start at the Declessa Altar Landmark. Travel west across the bridge, then use the vines to the south.
		Continue east, and go across the bridge, but watch out for the hole to the south.
		Continue east, and then go north to reach a new area. You’ll find the monster directly ahead.
Fogtrawler Tallstuff		Begin at the Ferronis Crater Landmark. Travel south and slightly east to eventually encounter it.
Gotthard, the Ethereal		Directly east of the previous unique monster.

Yesterdale

Troglodyte Umir		Start at the Planada Siq. Go south and follow the cliff to the east until you can climb it.
Troglodyte Umir		Continue to the southwest portion of the area and enter the cave to find it.
Cryoconite Laurel		Begin at the Outlook Park Landmark. Hop into the pit to the west to land in some water.
Cryoconite Laurel		Swim west through a room, and in the final room, go to the center to find the monster.
Tenebrous Muramasa		Return to the Outlook Park Landmark. Hop off the east edge into the water.
		Swim to the Ruined Anti-Air Battery 3 to the east, then go north to climb it.
		Once on the battery, travel south, and you’ll find it in the middle section before the Rotbatunga Secret Area.
Bioluminescent Bob		Go to the Gotrock Oracle Ruins and travel east.
Smackdown Brannigan		Start at the Colony 9, Main Entrance Landmark. Drop to the area below and head north, where you’ll encounter the monster in the water.

Ragmos Desolation

Perambulator Moritz		Begin at the Ulcar Monument Landmark. Travel north, past the Lumos Pillar Remnants ruins to the east.
Perambulator Moritz		Then, go east to find it, though you went too far if you reach the Lumos Garrison.
Many-Lived Derrick		Begin at the Oracle Spire Landmark. Travel north across the bridge and use the north staircase.
Many-Lived Derrick		Use another staircase, follow the path, and climb the ladder. You’ll encounter an egg with the monster in it at the top.
Naberius Invictus		Go to the Fallen Gate of Ulcaria Landmark.
Naberius Invictus		Travel north, and you’ll encounter the unique monster walking along the hill leading to the Raguel Bridge Camp Rest Spot.
Surrogate Fitzpatrick		Start at the Raguel Bridge Camp Rest Spot. Travel northwest across the bridge, and you’ll find it halfway across.
Thunderfish Duna-Roa		Go to the Lakeside Camp Rest Spot. Travel north to Raguel Lake and go to the large island in the middle.
Thunderfish Duna-Roa		You’ll find the unique monster on the east side.
Sworn Protector Hector		Start at the previous unique monster. Travel northwest to the Waterlogged Daksha Shrine. The monster will be in the middle of the shrine.

Black Mountains

Hallowcanter Hazerune		Begin at the Canyon of No Return Landmark in the Ragmos Desolation. Go west and use the Ether Slide.
Hallowcanter Hazerune		Travel north, but stay on the east side of the mountain to encounter the monster in the lower area.
Dragon God Alcar		Start at the Raxeal Lavaflow. Travel west, then south to find the sleeping dragon.
Fogdweller Abaasy		Finish the game to get this one to appear. Go to the Valak Peak Camp Rest Spot and travel south.
Sensational Gigapur		Go to the Gravina Bridge Landmark. Travel west across the bridge, and it’ll be flying on the north portion of it.
Sensational Gigapur		If you can’t get the Sensational Gigapur to come close enough, use the Lure button to get it to attack you.
Foghewn Augustus		Travel to the Prison Island Camp Rest Spot. Use the west Ether Slide, then travel southwest and use the Ether Lift.
Foghewn Augustus		Make your way down the Basverg Belfry, then cross the bridge to the east to reach the monster.
