The Legend Of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom may have been out in the wild for more than three months, but considering the sheer amount of stuff there is to do across Hyrule, and the countless other games distracting you between its release and now, many of you probably still haven’t finished. Especially if you’re anything like me who is only two temples down. If the busy calendar has prevented you from picking up the newest Zelda game at all until now, I have some very good news for you courtesy of Amazon.

Despite still being a very new game, and Nintendo Switch games that sell well hardly ever get reduced in price, Tears of the Kingdom is currently on sale at Amazon. Its price has been cut considerably too. The first Switch game to be slapped with a $70 price tag, if you buy a copy of Tears of the Kingdom through the Amazon link below right now, you’ll get it for less than $50.

$50 $70 Save $20

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a direct sequel to the Nintendo Switch hit Breath of the Wild. In it, Link must team up with Princess Zelda to rid Hyrule of another threat to its existence.

The physical copy of the game is the one that’s on sale whereas a digital copy still costs full price. Neither the full price nor reduced price is currently showing for the physical version, but when added to your cart, the sale price ($49.87) should show in the right sidebar. Do double-check that the game isn’t showing as full price just in case you’re reading this after the deal has expired before you proceed to the checkout.

Even though the game isn’t currently on sale when buying it directly through Nintendo, it’s incredibly surprising to see Tears of the Kingdom available for this little anywhere right now. Not only did the Breath of the Wild sequel sell incredibly well right out of the gate, but at 18 copies sold, it is already the ninth best-selling game on the Switch.

This combined with a number of Mario games getting brief but heavy reductions for Prime Day might be indicators that Nintendo’s next console announcement is imminent. The company is expected to officially confirm the first details on the Switch’s successor any day now. That being said, any day now with Nintendo could mean anything from a few hours from now to not at all. It’s been six years since Metroid Prime 4 was announced and yeah, still waiting on that one.
