Nothing has officially announced a release date for its second smartphone. The Nothing Phone (2) is set to make its debut next month, on July 11. Nothing has already been teasing details about the Phone (2).

The Nothing Phone (2) has already confirmed to be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Apart from the chipset, we also know that the Nothing Phone (2) will use an OLED screen and a sizeable 4,700 mAh battery.

The Nothing Phone (2) release date is set for July 11 at 04:00 pm BST Time or 08:30 pm (IST). The Nothing Phone (2) launch in India will take simultaneously as the global event. The Nothing Phone (2) will go on sale in India through Flipkart after its launch in the country.

Nothing has set up an event page for the Phone (2), where users can sign up for updates surrounding the launch event and the Phone (2) specifications. Additionally, the Nothing Phone (2) price in India is also expected to fall above the 40K mark.

As mentioned before, the Nothing Phone (2) will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Moreover, Nothing has also confirmed that the Phone (2) will use a 4,700 mAh battery and is expected to support both wired and wireless fast charging.

The Nothing Phone (2) will also use a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. For optics, the Phone (2) is expected to use a dual-camera setup with a 50 MP primary sensor with OIS and a 50 MP ultrawide shooter. The Phone (2) will boot Android 13 with Nothing OS 1.5 on top.

Moreover, CEO Carl Pei has confirmed that Nothing’s second smartphone will offer three OS updates and four years of security updates. The Nothing Phone (2) will also feature the same design as the Phone (1), with the former expected to get a new and improved Glyph interface.
