Intel India has introduced a range of locally made laptops and IT products at the India Tech Ecosystem Summit in New Delhi. The summit showcased devices from various local manufacturers, emphasizing Intel’s commitment to supporting India’s technology-driven growth through the Make in India initiative.

Highlighted products included a server by Mega Networks and C-DAC’s High-Performance Compute server Rudra, both powered by 4th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors.

The event featured over 25 products like Banking on Wheels, Thin Clients, All-in-One clients, and more, illustrating the diversity of Make in India solutions from 10+ ODMs, OEMs, and ecosystem players.

The summit facilitated matchmaking between government entities, enterprises, OEMs, local ecosystem, and Taiwanese ODMs, promoting domestic and international collaboration. Additionally, speakers from the government, Microsoft, and Google shared insights on India’s technology future.

Notably, in November 2023, Intel collaborated with eight EMS firms and ODMs to boost laptop production, aligning with the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

Intel highlighted India’s electronics manufacturing industry’s potential and expressed a commitment to supporting the technology ecosystem through continued collaboration with the government, industry, and startups.
